The legalities of Hemp were enacted from The United States Farm Bill of 2014 and 2018 classified Industrial Hemp as containing less than 0.3% THC by dry weight. Procana products contain less than 0.3% THC. The final ruling of the 9th Circuit Federal Court (DEA vs. Hemp Industry Association in 2004), ruled in favor of the HIA concluding that the substances from Industrial Hemp are excluded from the definition of marijuana under 21 U.S.C 802 (16)- as “non-psychoactive hemp” and not classified under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA).
